: Grandissimo successo in USA di Lorax - Il guardiano della foresta, che in un fine settimana ha racimolato circa 70 milioni di dollari, distanziando di ben 50 il secondo classificato, il festaiolo Project X. Act of Valor scende al terzo posto, mentre regge dopo quattro settimane in quarta posizione Safe House - Nessuno è al sicuro. Good Deeds lo ritroviamo al quinto posto, mentre altre due conoscenze di 'lunga data' quali Viaggio nell'Isola Misteriosa e La memoria del cuore restano ampiamente in gara. Discesa invece per Una spia non basta e Ghost Rider, mentre Nudi e Felici si dimostra un mezzo flop, raccimolando appena 12 milioni in due settimane.
