Tempo fa via avevamo annunciato come il sito Amazon avesse svelato per pochi attimi una pagina dedicata all'arrivo di un'edizione GOTY di LittleBigPlanet.
Oggi il Blog Ufficiale PlayStation statunitense ne annuncia ufficialmente l'arrivo, almeno per il territorio USA. Tanti i contenuti esclusivi tra i quali anche l'accesso esclusivo alla beta del nuovo Mod Nation Racers, presentato in occasione dello scorso E3. Saranno poi presenti ben 18 livelli aggiuntivi creati da fan di tutto il mondo e 7 costumi e level pack, con il Metal Gear solid Pack incluso.
Verrà venduto a 60 dollari ma con un valore extra dei contenuti appena elencati di oltre 30 dollari e sarà disponibile dall'8 settembre. Nessuna notizia invece, riguardo ad una versione europea. In attesa di un annuncio per il nostro territorio ecco il comunicato ufficiale:

August 17, 2009 - Sony Computer Entertainment officially announced the upcoming U.S. release of the LittleBigPlanet - Game of the Year edition. Shipping to stores on September 8th, the new Game of the Year edition features LittleBigPlanet's award-winning "Play, Create, Share" gameplay experience plus a number of new bonus additions.
Since its launch last October, LittleBigPlanet has been the most critically acclaimed title in years with more than 80 industry awards worldwide, 15 of which have been for Game of the Year categories, ranging with awards from the top gaming critics to prestigious organizations such as Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences and The British Academy of Film and Television Arts. This special edition will celebrate these achievements while bringing fans fresh, never-before-seen bonus levels by the LittleBigPlanet fans.
