Game Developers Choice Awards: Inscryption è il miglior gioco dell'anno

In occasione della GDC 2022 torna anche l'appuntamento con i Game Developers Choice Awards, i premi assegnati da membri dell'industria ai migliori giochi dell'anno. Premiati anche i migliori giochi indipendenti durante Independent Games Festival.

Per quanto riguarda l'Independent Games Festival (IGF) a trionfare è Inscryption che si porta a casa diversi premi tra cui l'ambito Seumas McNally Grand Prize.

Infine, premio alla carriera a Yuji Horii, autore di Dragon Quest che ottiene il Lifetime Achievement per aver creare una saga leggendaria capace di influenzare usi e costumi di più di una generazione, diventando un vero e proprio fenomeno della cultura pop.
